What matters to us

Support that fits a real week, not a template roster

Regional support only works when it is dependable, familiar and easy to talk about. Those three things shape how we work.

Local to the region

We work across Bairnsdale and the surrounding East Gippsland towns, so travel time and distance are planned in rather than treated as a surprise.

Familiar faces

We match support workers to a person's routine, communication style and preferences, and keep that pairing steady wherever rostering allows.

Plain-language contact

Plans, changes and rosters are explained without jargon, and we write things down so families and coordinators are never guessing.

Services

Practical support at home and out in the community

Hours can be arranged as a regular weekly pattern or as occasional cover, depending on what the household needs.

In-home daily living

Help with the parts of the day that take the most effort — getting up and settled, meals, medication prompts and keeping the week organised.

Personal care

Respectful assistance with showering, dressing, grooming and mobility, following the routine and boundaries a person has set.

Community participation

Support to get to the things that make a week worth having: groups, sport, the shops, the foreshore, classes and catching up with people.

Respite for carers

Planned or short-notice cover so a family carer can work, rest or travel, with handover notes so nothing about the routine gets lost.

All six support types

How it starts

Four steps from first email to a settled roster

Nothing is locked in before we have talked it through. Each step is short, and you can stop at any of them.

Send us the first message →

  1. First conversation

Tell us who the support is for, what the days currently look like and what is not working.

  2. Planning together

We agree the tasks, hours, boundaries and goals with the participant and anyone they want in the room.

  3. Matching a worker

Preferences on gender, language, interests and location are taken seriously — a good match is most of the outcome.

  4. Review and adjust

Routines change. We check in, write down what has shifted and change the roster to match.

About us

An East Gippsland provider, registered in Victoria

Empowering Hearts Support Services Pty Ltd is an Australian proprietary limited company based in Victoria, working with people living with disability and with the families and coordinators around them.

Support in a regional area asks for a particular kind of organisation: one that plans around distance, keeps the same small team involved, and is straightforward to reach when a shift needs to change.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Decisions belong to the participant — we support choices, we do not make them.
  • Dignity and privacy come before convenience, in every task.
  • Clear notes and clear invoices, so nothing has to be chased.
  • If we are not the right fit, we say so early.

Feedback and complaints go straight to [email protected] and are answered by the company, not a queue.
